More than my work
For fun and self-care, Julia enjoys finding adventure in new places around the world, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with her cat named Mouse.
"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms-to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."
- Viktor Frankl

How I Help
Explore with Curiosity
Julia believes that when an individual brings concerns into therapy, they need to be heard and acknowledged. Her person-centered approach to therapy allows the client to have control during the session while she acts as a guide to support the therapeutic process.
Julia uses EMDR to support individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety and/or depression, perinatal loss, and stress while integrating somatic and emotion-focused work. Julia also uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her practice for individual and couples counseling who are seeking to strengthen their relationships.
