About the Event

Learn how to utilize time in nature to rest, restore, and maintain positive mental health.

This session will take place in a local park. Although the session is 2 hours long, we will cover a very short distance.

This session is suitable for children, youth, and adults. Parent &/or guardian must be in attendance for children under 18 unless prior arrangements have been made with the provider.

Bring a small cushion or mat to sit on if you do not want to sit on the forest floor.

Dress for the temperature, precipitation, and dirt. Dress in layers and bring water and snacks. In hot temperatures, wear cotton, a hat, sunscreen and bugspray. In cold weather, wear moisture wicking fabrics such as polyesters and wool.

This program runs rain, snow, or shine. The session will be cancelled if there is active lightning, a weather advisory where people are advised to be indoors, or if travel is not recommended. In the event of weather cancellation, clients may reschedule, maintain a credit on their account or receive a full refund.

The provider reserves the right to reschedule due to low attendance.
